and/or

I offer online therapy for residents anywhere in Nebraska.

How long are your sessions?

I offer 60-minute, 90-minute, and intensive (two-day) options.

Do you take insurance?

My practice runs primarily on self-pay. Paying directly for your mental health services yourself has several advantages.

First, it’s good for your privacy! In addition, I won’t have to disclose a mental health diagnosis to an insurance company, which becomes part of your permanent medical record. Plus, in my practice (and my own healing journey), I’ve found that when individuals pay for the service directly, their motivation and focus soars.

I want fundamental healing shifts for you… not just another commodified service through insurance.

How do I set up an initial appointment?
You can either schedule your free initial 15- to 20-minute phone consultation or fill out the contact form below. I look forward to speaking with you!
What is your cancellation policy?

All appointments can be canceled up to 24 hours in advance without penalty. Late cancellation (less than 24 hours in advance) or No-shows incurs a 50% charge.

Multiple late cancels or no-shows may be grounds for termination of services.

Will I receive assignments to work on in between sessions?

If you think assignments in between sessions would be helpful, then yes. I believe that doing assignments in between sessions is a wonderful way to accelerate your healing.

And, if you don’t want homework, I will follow your lead. It’s YOUR THERAPY. You get to tell me how you best absorb information, not the other way around.

What modalities do you use in your client work?

It’s challenging to categorize or put a box around all I do because I work holistically using a multilayered approach.

So, I draw from many approaches and traditions, including classics like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Adlerian psychology, trauma-focused attachment theory, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Rogerian systems of counseling.

But I also like to use more experiential approaches, like Expressive Arts Theory, Sacred Space Methodologies, Color Theory, and Jungian philosophy.

Remember, though: This is YOUR therapy. YOU drive the car. If you don’t like something, let me know… and we’ll adjust your treatment to fit your interests and preferences.

What are your training and experience?

I received a Master of Science degree in Counseling from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2012.

I am post-graduate trained in EMDR, complicated grief, and trauma-sensitive yoga. I have certification as a yoga instructor from Acadiana Yoga & Wellness.

I’m also a certified instructor in Nia, a sensory-movement practice drawing from dance, martial arts, and other healing practices.

I’m also an Ageless Grace Facilitator, helping my clients maintain their mental and physical health for a lifetime!

What else do I need to know to make the most out of working with you?
I’m intense. The work is intense. Come when you’re ready to make some serious inroads and fundamentally change the direction and course of your life.
I'm a bit nervous about this. Can you take it slow with me?

I know I talk about radical changes as part of the healing journey. And you’ll get that. But…

YOUR therapy = YOU drive the car. You get to dictate the speed and focus of therapy. I’m here to help you get where you say you want to go.

Is there any support between sessions?

Thank you for asking. YES.

You will have my phone number to call or text and my email. I usually respond within 24 hours.

Healing is challenging, and unearthing trauma can make your mind, body, and spirit go haywire. I see you. And I’m here.

If you have an emergency or crisis and need immediate assistance, please contact 911.
